CCTV cameras in the work place are essential not only to deter theft, vandalism and identification of the perpetrators but also for number plate recognition and for use in evidence for misconduct or health and safety compliance. They have even been proven to increase employee safety from personal attack as well as increasing productivity.
Infra red technology has vastly improved cameras night time vision so can be used in any number of locations, positions and conditions. Please refer to our Thermal Imaging section for more information on extreme requirements.
CCTV cameras can be connected to a PC or stand alone monitor. IP cameras are becoming increasingly more popular which means, with the correct equipment, computer, Smartphone or tablet, it is possible to view the images from your IP CCTV cameras from anywhere in the world! IP cameras can either be connected directly into your router so record using a data card or via a Digital Video Recorder (DVR). All the footage is stored using these methods with varying levels of memory capacity depending on how often and which zones of view your cameras are programmed to record and how long you would like to keep the footage for.
Covert CCTV cameras are becoming increasingly popular for external and internal use, including Camera PIR’s for our Agility 3 intruder system which can also be viewed from anywhere in the world using a computer, Smartphone or Tablet.
